Good for growing businesses

I started using ShipBob for end-to-end order fulfillment. The onboarding process was pretty straightforward, even with the ecommerce integration. I connected my Shopify store and it pulled in my products without much fuss. Delivery has been consistent, with most orders using their 2-day express shipping option arriving on time. I did have one issue with a specific batch of fragile item shipping where a few items arrived damaged, but their support team was responsive and helped process a returns management request. The inventory management software gives me a good overview, though sometimes the real-time analytics feel a little delayed. Overall, it's a solid platform for scaling up without needing my own warehouse.

Helpful for my online store

So, I decided to try ShipBob because my garage was overflowing with inventory, lol. I got the omni-channel fulfillment setup. It was pretty easy to get my products into their system. They even helped with custom packaging for a new product launch. Everything just kind of hums along now, which is a relief. My customers are getting their stuff pretty quick, and I don't have to worry about packing boxes anymore. It feels like a big weight off my shoulders.

Decent value, good support

I was looking for a cost-effective solution for my small business's multi-channel management. ShipBob offered a new customer discount, which was a nice incentive. It really helped lower the initial investment for their pick and pack services. I got a software demo before committing, which clarified a lot. The bulk shipping rates they offered also seemed competitive compared to what I was getting before. It felt like a good deal overall and saved me some money compared to other options I looked at.

Smooth fulfillment service

Signed up for their subscription box fulfillment. Onboarding was quick. Inventory management works well. Orders ship out fast. No major complaints so far, it just works.

Hey guys, thinking of signing up for ShipBob. How long does the whole onboarding process usually take before you can actually start shipping stuff?

A Alex D. 2 weeks ago
It's not super fast, def takes a bit. They gotta get your inventory and everything set up. I'd say give it a few weeks, maybe 3-4? Depending on how complex your products are.

Yeah, what ^ said. It's not an instant thing. They walk you through it though. My experience was pretty smooth, but it wasn't a one-day setup for sure.

Is ShipBob good for small businesses, or is it more for huge companies? My order volume isn't crazy high yet.

O Olivia Lopez 3 weeks ago
Nah, it's totally good for small businesses. That's kinda their main thing, helping smaller guys get better shipping rates and stuff without having their own huge warehouse.

I started with them when I was super small. They scale with you, which is nice. Don't feel like you have to be some massive enterprise to use them.

Wondering about custom packaging. Like, can I send them my own branded boxes or do they just use plain ones?

J Jennifer 1 week ago
Yep, you can definitely send them your own custom boxes and inserts. That's one of the perks, helps with branding.

They'll use your custom packaging. Just gotta make sure you send it to their warehouse, they'll store it and use it when fulfilling your orders.

How do ShipBob's rates compare to Amazon FBA? I'm trying to figure out which makes more sense for my products.

J Jeff H. 3 weeks ago
It's complicated, depends on your product size, weight, and how fast you need stuff to go out. FBA can sometimes be cheaper for certain things but ShipBob gives you more control and branding.

Totally different beasts. FBA can be good if you're all-in on Amazon, but for multi-channel stuff and custom packaging, ShipBob usually wins out. You'd need to get quotes for both and do the math for your specific items.

Do they handle international returns? Or is that something I'd have to figure out on my own?

M Megan Thomas 1 month ago
They do, yeah. It's part of their whole returns management service. I had a couple of international customers return stuff and it went through them.

I think they do, but probably worth confirming the specifics for your target countries. It can get tricky with customs and all.

Anyone know how to get one of those shipping credits? Saw some talk about them floating around but can't find a direct promo code.

K Karen R. 3 weeks ago
I got mine through a referral link from another business owner. Think that's how they mostly do it now, not like a regular coupon code you type in.

Yeah, pretty sure you gotta talk to their sales team or use a special link. I tried looking for a code too and never found one, ended up just getting a demo and they hooked me up with a new customer deal.

Anyone using their WMS? Is it any good, or should I stick to my own system?

E Emily L. 2 weeks ago
Their WMS is actually pretty solid. Gives you good visibility into everything. There might even be a free trial if you ask.

It's integrated nicely with everything else they do, so that's a plus. Way better than trying to manage inventory across multiple platforms yourself.
